BRINGING CARE TO KIDS IN NEED
Gift of Life International
The Chadasha Foundation, in partnership with Gift of Life International, provides life-saving surgeries to children with congenital heart defects at clinic sites in Guyana, Bolivia and Dominican Republic. Our teams train local medical staff so they can continue this work themselves, and we strive to enhance onsite space and equipment. When there is a need, we assist patients and their families with travel expenses to reach clinic sites.
The link below will take you to the website of our strategic partner, Gift of Life International. There you will find the protocols and criteria for requesting assistance for a child.

What happens after I submit my application?
Once the above criteria are met, Gift of Life International will work within its global network to place the child in an affiliated hospital around the world. Additionally, we will work to ensure funding for the operation and care of the child and parent during their stay in whatever city they travel to. The funding of airfares will vary based upon the location of the surgery. Occasionally we are able to have the airfares donated for the parent and child but in some instances the parents are asked to incur this cost.
